You know you're getting old when...

...you have arthritis. In June 2001, Jared was in a car accident that left him with constant back pain. It was bearable, but not fun (obviously). This year, however, his back has been giving him excruciating pain and he has been on serious pain medication around the clock. He finally was able to get an MRI done last Friday, and we got the results today. He has two bulging disks and arthritis of the back (from L3 down to his sacrum). So now he's going to try some new anti-inflammatory drugs. Thank goodness for drugs! Right, Gramma?
The Dr. said cardiovascular excercise will help, but there isn't much else that can be done.
We just celebrated his birthday 2 nights ago. I never knew 32 could seem so OLD!

  3. opps i didn't mean to delete my comment. i wanted to tell you to have jared find a drx or vax-d machine to help his back. if those options are too expensive or not available, the hang-up (inversion table) these options will aleviate most of the back pain. ps i love your blog.

Thanks so much for visiting! I will ask around. I will google it, too and find out what the heck it is. I have never heard of those!
