Here’s the latest from the Martins . . . .Kyle is a 14 month old bundle of energy. He’s into his climbing phase but he hasn’t quite learned how to get down . . . at least not gracefully. He is sure to be a part of whatever his brothers are doing, and competes with Lance at who can laugh the loudest.
Lance just turned 3 and is getting very big and strong, as he continues to remind us. He loves to put on his “joggin’ shoes” and run. He is in a co’op preschool with 3 other boys and enjoys learning. This year he was in an art and music class, and has become quite a singer. He has a great, loud laugh and loves making Kyle laugh.
Jace is 7 and in the second grade. He enjoys getting up early to be the first person at the bus stop to go to school. He loves reading, science stuff, making crafts, and playing outside. He enjoys sports like soccer and junior jazz basketball. His brothers have also developed a love for basketball and enjoy going to his games.
Jenny is working hard as always to keep the kids in line and a smile on her face while Jared is away studying. She plays the role of chauffer, cook, waitress, wake up call for Jace, and all those other things that come with being a mom.
Jared is half way through his 2nd year of medical school. He is 6 months away from the biggest test of his life. In June he will take his Step 1 Board exam. He enjoys coming home for an occasional lunch with the “Dear of his life”, and also tries to escape from his studies to the mountains any chance he gets. He got his yearly hand injury by breaking a bone in his hand while playing basketball. He also spends a little time working with Make-a-Wish of Utah.
