This is the most babies he has delivered in a day. He said one resident that worked call, 24 hours, delivered 24 babies. Not one each hour, they come in clusters. (i.e. one after another: the resident delivers the baby and gives the medical student the remaining jobs, like delivering the placenta, while they go deliver another baby after which they assign a med student to deliver that placenta and on to the next...).
Also, he won a gift certificate at work for collecting the most umbilical cord blood. Way to go, Jared!
