Sweet Dreams

He did it again tonight. Almost every time, since about a week ago, that I lay Kyle down for bedtime or just a nap, he does this irrisistible cute thing! It begins when I wrap his blanket around him and hold him for a minute. He smiles and looks like he just loves the feel of his soft blanket around him. Then, just as I lay him down on the mattress, he giggles! Isn't that the cutest thing?? I have never seen this before. Cheers to happy babies!

Happy New Year!

It's tradition! Jared goes ice fishing every New Year's day. Jace got to come along today. Jared was the only one, out of their company of 5, to catch a fish. Jace said he still had a good time. He got to hang with his cousins and also watch lots of fish on Jared's cool fish finder. Brrrr!

Greatest Snow on Earth

It is so nice to live at a place so close to so many fun things to do. This was just a walk away. The kids had a fantastic time. Kyle and Lance weren't too fond of the sled, but they loved the snow!

I musta been good this year...

The kids seemed to have a wonderful Christmas. By the way, Lance has since figured out the basic meaning of Christmas. "It's about baby Jesus." I'm so glad he figured it out!
Lance got the race car he asked for.... and his own basketball hoop. Jace absolutely cannot wait to take some guitar lessons. He looks pretty happy considering that a week before Christmas he said, " I think I want an electric guitar instead." I told him I think Santa's elves already made it. Jace has since been SO happy with this classical one - he even got to ring in the new year with it! Kyle cannot get enough of his baskets. He even bends his knees before shooting. I don't know where he got that from 'cept all those Jazz games on the TV lately (could be his Jr. Jazz brother, too...)
